		"The performance started with the Chief Constable '\'waking up'\' the "+
		"dragon by applying special paint (cinnabar) to the Dragon's eyes, ears, mouth "+
		"and the rest of the body, including the tail. The procedure is very much like "+
		"the Dim Jing of a new lion head. <p />"+
		"The dragon dance was led by instructor Gilberto, followed by a team of "+
		"volunteer officers. Each officer was responsible for controlling a sub "+
		"section of the dragon's body and timing the swaying movements in " +
		"coordination with the head and Pearl (student, Tony). <p />"+
		"The officers had been given only four weeks to train for the show which was quite a challenge in itself. " +
		"Fortunately for training instructor Gilberto, they already had the physical strength so it was a matter of "+
		"teaching them various movements, timing and coordination. He recalls: '\' Everyone put a lot of effort into "+
		"training and I was very surprised how quickly they picked it up.  But the most important thing is that they "+
		"thoroughly enjoyed it, I certainly did!.'\'";

var cfaw = "Our team of dancers and musicians entertain the crowd at the Food and Wine Festival "+
	   	"in Christchurch High Street. The festival itself has been an on-going tradition in "+ 
		"the community and helps to raise money for restoration work, in order to preserve the "+
		"Town's Priory Church.<p />The Town Mayor was invited to take part in the Dim Jing "+
		"ceremony or awakening of our new red lion. This procedure is necessary before " +
		"any newly-made lion is allowed to perform in front of a live audience, and goes with old tradition. "+
		"Generally speaking, it involves brushing paint onto certain parts of the lion's head, typically the eyes, "+
		"ears, mouth and other parts of the body. <p >"+
		"The show started with a three drum line-up, playing simultaneously alongside each other. This was the first "+
		"time two of the students (Jake and Sharon) had performed on the drums in front of the public and a chance to gain valuable experience. "+
		"With experienced drummer Raymond leading, the drum routine was played and warm applause came from the crowd at the end. Other musicians included Vincent. C, Kwong and Jake on the cymbals.<p />"+
		"The lion dance got under way with two lions in their sleeping positions and the Mayor applying paint onto the new lion head, "+
		"with assistance from Andy Chu. The highlights of the dance included one of the lions opening a basket, releasing "+
		"helium balloons and the laughing Buddha with his banana skin fan (played by uncle Leung). All in all, a truly memorable day for "+
		"the team and a big '\'Thank You'\' goes out to the Mayor of Christchurch and the event organiser(s).";
